LOCATION: Harraton Court Stables is situated in Exning on the northern outskirts of Newmarket, which is the recognised headquarters of British Racing. The A11/M11 gives access to Stansted Airport and London. Horse walks from Exning lead to the racecourse side gallops which are managed by the Jockey Club Estates Ltd. with the connecting walk giving racehorses a perfect opportunity to warm-up and cool-down when travelling to and from the gallops Newmarket is the largest racehorse training centre in the country with two racecourses. The range of facilities include 2,500 acres of gallops, Tattersalls as well as some of the most outstanding veterinary practices and equine hospitals.

THE PROPERTY The property is well located for both the Bury Side Gallops and the Racecourse Side Gallops, these are well accessed via the extensive network of horse walks spanning the town.

Barn of 24 boxes, with tack and feed rooms, use of a horse walker, lunge ring and use of a 7½ Furlong carpet gallop.

The Derby gallop is of peat moss on an even camber and rises 150 feet over 7 furlongs. It was used to prepare the 1992 Derby winner Dr. Devious.

The house is designed to enjoy the views and outdoor space with large windows and doors out on to the terrace to the rear of the house.
